La Capital Tacos LATHAM – Authentic Birria & Steak Tacos in Latham, NY

Absolutely fantastic. I’ve tried them all but the birria is my favorite. The brisket is tender and you can sink your teeth into the huge pieces they give out in each taco, and it’s not at all stringy, the dipping sauce is so good I feel bad throwing the leftovers out, perfectly crunchy outside and creamy sweet with the cheese. This is adult Doritos loco tacos done right. Definitely eat it over the plate. Dripping with goodness

Best tacos in the capital region hands down. Very authentic feel, and taste, and has become a weekly spit. Not too oily at all - literally perfect! You HAVE to go here if you haven't yet.

I wanted to go to Capital Taco for quite some time because somebody recommended them to my wife and myself. The food was great. The taste was authentic Mexican tacos. The service was pretty fast. My wife loved her birrias tacos. She said it was delicious. She told me it is one of her favorite spots now for tacos in the capital region. I couldn't agree more with her. My bowl was very tasty. I got the Campeche bowl. The portions are good and better than many other places. The place was clean. Overall we had a great experience. If you want to have some great tacos this is the place for you.

Delicious tacos here, they match up to the quality of the Troy location. I recommend getting tacos con todos and mix and match the filling, or do the birria tacos which are delicious.

I was recommended to check out La Capital Tacos, and I’m glad I did—it did not disappoint! It is tucked inside a small food court, which is perfect if you’re looking to grab a quick bite. ——————————- WHAT I ORDERED: - Traditional Steak Tacos - Birria Tacos ———————————- While the traditional tacos were tasty, they were on the smaller side and didn’t quite fill me up, but the Birria Tacos more than made up for it with their amazing flavor and generous portion. I highly recommend trying those! Another bonus: this location is the only La Capital Tacos branch (that I know of) where you can get an alcoholic margarita. So it’s great spot to kick off the weekend - the open seating makes it an ideal hangout to meet up with friends, relax, and make plans before heading to your next destination. I’ll definitely be back for those Birria Tacos and margarita!

Anyone who doesn’t give a five for this spot doesn’t know Mexican. Birria tacos are the best option. Burrito is full of meat. If you like spicy just ask. Fire Guacamole . Nice a lemony

My love for tacos brought me here. I ordered the carne Asada tacos this time. They were freshly made small corn tortillas overloaded with well seasoned steak onions and cilantro . Tasty for sure. My only wish . . .they use dbl tortillas to hold all that meat and put some Bark on it. It's a bit greyand chewy. Over all they were tasty. I give them 3.5 /5 I'll be back for the BIRRIA TACOS next time.
